What is CourtsideView?
CourtsideView is a volleyball match-day app for scorekeeping, player stats, rotations, rosters, and FanView live score sharing. It helps volleyball families score the match, track the story behind every set, and keep supporters following from one easy place.
What is the CourtsideView app?
CourtsideView is a volleyball match-day app for scorekeeping, player stats, rotations, rosters, and FanView live score sharing.
Do fans need to install an app?
No. Fans open a shared FanView link in a modern browser to follow the score and match activity. Live video is available when the broadcaster chooses to start it.
What is the difference between live scores and live video?
FanView can share scores and match activity without a camera. Live video is optional: a broadcaster must allow camera and microphone access and start the broadcast. Sharing a score link does not automatically start video or recording.
How long does a FanView link work?
The same FanView link stays with the game and expires 15 minutes after the game concludes. A live link is not a permanent video archive.
What does CourtsideView cost?
CourtsideView is free to download. Check the App Store or Google Play listing for current availability and any purchase terms in your region.
Do I need an account to keep score?
You can keep score locally without signing up. FanView and the other account features require a free account. Fans can open a shared FanView link without installing the app.
What requires an internet connection?
Local scorekeeping and stored match data work on your device. Publishing and receiving FanView updates, streaming live video, and using connected account features require an internet connection. Offline scoring does not provide live updates to remote viewers.
Which devices can I use?
CourtsideView is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Check the linked store listing for compatibility with your device. Fans follow FanView in a modern web browser.
